ORAL PRESENTATION GUIDELINES AND INSTRUCTIONS TO PRESENTERS
Please refer to the congress programme on the website to identify your presentation details. https://21centurysorghum.com/scientific-programme-day-1-monday-9-april-2018/ .Please take note of the date and time of your presentation.
Presenting authors will be required to upload their presentation/s onto the server 24 hours prior to their presentation time. This can be done at the Speaker Preparation Centre which will be in Room 1 (Organisers Office) at the Century City Convention Centre. Technicians will be available to assist with this process and it will give the presenter the opportunity to run through their slides and to make sure it is working correctly in advance.
Presentations should be prepared in Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 or later. No Key Note presentations will be accepted. If you have embedded videos in your presentation, please also bring them separately so that if there is a problem the technician in the speaker preparation room can assist with this. All PowerPoint presentations or videos must be in the 16:9 ratio format. Please see template attached. If you have prepared your presentation on a Mac, please allow a bit of extra time to make sure it runs correctly on the conference systems. In some cases, you may be required to use your own Mac and should carry your converter cables and adaptors with you for this purpose.
Speakers should report to the venue of their presentation at least 15 minutes before the start of the session to meet the session chairpersons, and familiarise themselves with the audiovisual equipment and venue layout.
PLEASE NOTE: Session chairs will be instructed to stop your presentation when you exceed your allocated time.
